The Municipality of Velenje, together with the Savinjska-Šaleška Region Development Agency and the Municipality of Šoštanj, is organising the 3rd international conference ‘Welcome, Future’, which will take place on 21 September 2023 in the grand hall of the Paka Hotel in Velenje. Together with representatives of the government, the European Commission, and stakeholders from abroad, we want to discuss and reveal examples of good practices in supporting economic development and to formulate the basis for a law on the restructuring of our coal-mining region.
