LCA ANALYSIS

CONTENT

LCA analysis (Life Cycle Assessment) is a method for assessing the environmental impacts of a product throughout its entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to disposal.
It helps companies make more sustainable decisions and is crucial in developing a sustainable strategy.

Benefits of LCA analysis:

• Environmental footprint assessment: Helps identify where the greatest environmental impacts occur in a product’s life cycle. Helps compare products, processes, or services.
• Data basis for improvements: Based on the results, companies can more easily identify opportunities for improvement, such as reducing emissions or making better use of resources – sustainable product design (Eco design).
• Cost reduction: More efficient use of raw materials and energy can reduce production costs.
