We have received notification from the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development that, with the adoption of the STEP Regulation (EU Regulation 2024/795), 30% of the funds from the Just Transition Fund have been paid into the state budget, which affects the achievement of the financial milestone for 2026. On this basis, the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism, and Sport has decided to extend the deadlines for the completion of projects. To a certain extent, activities may also be carried out in 2027. This will have a positive impact on the quality of investment projects.

Due to this anticipated change, it was necessary to update the coordinated text of the public call and the accompanying documentation and resubmit it for internal review and approval. The entire documentation will be sent to the development agency for review and opinion after approval by the expert services of the ministry and the SPIRIT agency commission, expected in early May 2024.
