In cooperation with the NOVUS Association for the Development of Human Resources and Social Programmes, we invite you to a consultation and presentation of restructuring projects and their impact on the lives of older people. The event will take place on Friday, 26 September 2025, at 9 a.m. at Gaudeamus (Trg mladosti 7, Velenje).
At the consultation, senior citizens will present their views on changes in the region and how they experience them. The event will be designed as a combination of presentations and open discussions, where participants will be able to express their opinions, challenges, and suggestions for co-creating better opportunities in the SAŠA region.
Main objectives of the consultation:
Providing information on approved and planned projects;
Gathering experiences and views on changes in the community;
Identifying challenges in terms of services, mobility, and inclusion;
Co-creating proposals for the just transition of the region;
Strengthening the sense of being heard and included among older people.
The activities of the SAŠA Centre for Just Transition are fully funded by technical assistance from the Just Transition Fund.
