The Savinjsko-Šaleška Region Development Agency, in cooperation with JR CRTI SAŠA Velenje, the Savinja-Šaleška Chamber of Commerce, and the Velenje School Center, is organizing the event “SAŠA 2026 Career Opportunities,” which will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the Red Hall in Velenje.

For the third year in a row, the event will bring together elementary and secondary schools, businesses, public agencies, other institutions, and individuals. The morning session will be dedicated to 8th- and 9th-grade students from all elementary schools in the SAŠA region, while the afternoon session will be open to other interested individuals from the region and beyond. Through this all-day event, we aim to introduce participants to the most in-demand professions in the region, educational opportunities (high school and higher education programs), and employment opportunities, with the goal of retaining them in the SAŠA region after they finish school. The event will serve to inform participants, foster networking, and promote the professions and career paths that are most relevant in the region. We invite you to participate in the event by presenting the profession that your company is most actively seeking or needs.

More information about participating in the event is available HERE.
