On Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Celje Fair will host one of the largest nationwide employment and career events in Slovenia, the Job Fair and Education Festival. Numerous exhibitors will be presenting at the fair, including a range of outstanding employers from various industries across Slovenia, as well as key institutions in the fields of career counseling, education, and employment.
In addition, an interesting program of fair-related activities has been prepared for all visitors and is available online at: Celje Fair Program – Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia.
The Savinjsko-Šaleška Region Development Agency will also be participating in the event as one of the exhibitors. At the event, we will present employment opportunities at DA SAŠA, as well as the SAŠA Just Transition Academy, which offers a comprehensive system of education, training, and support for individuals, communities, and businesses in the SAŠA region. The Academy brings together programs that support key areas of the region’s transformation, such as:
- the development of a sustainable economy,
- new green technologies and energy,
- social innovation and community engagement,
- entrepreneurial and leadership skills,
- digital skills and modern approaches to work.
The programs are designed in collaboration with local businesses, educational institutions, and experts who are well acquainted with the challenges and opportunities of the SAŠA region. The goal is clear: to strengthen people’s knowledge, confidence, and readiness for the changes brought about by the transition to a climate-neutral economy.
