Initiative of the National Institute of Chemistry coming to the SAŠA region
The National Institute of Chemistry, Laboratory for Research of Biomass Biorefining, which will operate within the Velenje Technology Park – Techub, is seeking to establish cooperation with companies from the region in joint applications to national and European tenders and in the development of innovative projects. With the establishment of the new laboratory, they want to offer companies research and development support, knowledge transfer and co-creation of solutions with higher added value. The aim of the initiative is a long-term partnership that strengthens the competitiveness of companies and the development of the region.

Representatives of the National Institute of Chemistry will also be present for talks on at the event Business Espresso organized by Savinjsko-šaleška Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which will take place on 12. february 2. 2026 at the Wunder bar on Velenje Lakeside Beach, and the networking part will take place after 9 am.
